Algalif awarded the best astaxanthin producer for four consecutive years.

Algalif has been awarded the Global Health and Pharma Biotechnology Awards 2024 as the Best Natural Astaxanthin Products Supplier. Algalif got the same award in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

This is the ninth time the UK-based Global Health & Pharma magazine has given out the international Biotechnology Awards. The magazine is a part of AI Global Media publishing house.  Please go here to read the magazine.

“We are extremely honored by receiving these esteemed awards for the fourth time,” says Svavar Halldorsson, Algalif´s Head of Sales and Marketing. “But we need to be mindful that the real honor belongs to our dedicated teams in science, production and sales. Algalif is Europes’s biggest producer of sustainable natural astaxanthin. Algalif was the first and only Icelandic Company to be awarded the GHP Pharma Biotechnology Awards in 2022 and therefore also the first Icelandic company to win it four times.

Algalif is best astaxanthin supplier in the world – for the second year in a row!

Algalif has been awarded the Global Health and Pharma Biotechnology Awards 2022 as the Best Natural Astaxanthin Products Supplier. Algalif got the same award in 2021.

This is the seventh time that the UK-based Global Health & Pharma magazine gives out the international Biotechnology Awards. The magazine is a part of AI Global Media publishing house.

“We are honored by receiving these esteemed awards for the second time,” says Orri Bjornsson, Algalif´s CEO. “But the real honor belongs to our dedicated team and their hard work.”

Algalif is one of the world’s biggest producers of sustainable natural astaxanthin. Algalif is the first and only Icelandic Company to be awarded the GHP Pharma Biotechnology Awards and therefor also the first Icelandic company to win it twice.

Algalif Iceland has received Landsbankinn´s Sustainable Finance Label.

Algalif awarded as one of the fastest growing companies in Iceland.

The Icelandic Growth Consortium has awarded Algalif as one of the country’s fastest-growing companies. This is a great honor for a young biotech startup company like Algalif. The Icelandic Growth Consortium consists of the Federation of Icelandic Industries, Iceland Startups, the University of Reykjavik, and The Icelandic Center for Research.

Global Health & Pharma magazine from the UK-based publishing house AI Global Media has awarded Algalif Iceland as the best Natural Astaxanthin Products Supplier of 2021 at the sixth annual Biotechnology Awards.

Sustainability is the key

Algalif is one of the most sustainable companies in its field worldwide. The company recently updated its environmental policy manifesto where the company describes its goals and will to be exemplary and inspire others in environmental matters.

Expansion on schedule

Algalif recently announced plans of 30 million US$ expansion. Production will more than triple when the new facility is operational in 2022. A new state-of-the-art factory will establish Algalif as a worldwide industry leader in astaxanthin production.
